Kids University - Beyond the Classroom

Kids University (KidsU) is designed to offer extended academic and athletic opportunities for full-time students at Atholton Adventist Academy. Its programming is an extension of the regular school programming and is designed to enhance the student's total learning experience. KidsU offers before-school study time, after-school tutoring and homework assistance, sports activities, and a six-week summer program. All before and after school programming has a small fee associated with the respective activity

Before and After School Childcare

Extended childcare runs from 6:30 am to 8:00 am and from 3:30-6:00 pm. Before school, students may finish classroom assignments, read a book, study for exams, or participate in guided play. After school, students may finish homework or engage in games and other play type activities. When the weather is nice, aftercare takes place outside on the playground. During inclement weather, aftercare meets in the gymnasium or the adjoining lower level of the Atholton Church.
